Droplets
T'is my new game
Droplets is the most boring game you shall ever play.
I was aiming to remake my old game Weight Wars but better, smoother running.
Also I wanted to create a song inspired by Lion King Remix by F777.
What I got was this really boring but well coded game.
Oh well.
What you guys's think then.

It was sweet, cute, well animated, good story and left me in a good mood.
It's a true master piece.
I recommend everyone watching it.
Although I've been trying to watch it for 2 hours because of too much traffic on the server I kept refreshing and it was so worth it.

6 Things a Good Flash Developer Should be Able To Do
Posted by Deadclever23 Aug. 27, 2008 @ 4:08 AM EDTThese are the things I think every good flash developer should be able to do:
1. 3d model - Every good flash developer should be able to use some form of 3d modeler if it be something simple like Swift 3d or something technical like Maya 3d, or maybe even cheap like Blender. Either way 3d models really make flash content look more professional.
2. Image manipulation/Graphic design - Every flash developer should be able to use some form of image editing software be it Photoshop, fireworks, paint or gimp. They should be able to edit pictures or at least be able to use an airbrush and they should also be able to design a simple logo.
3. Sound editing - Every flash developer should be able to record sounds and voices to be able to fit their needs. They should also be able to edit songs to fit their needs. They should be able to use at least something basic like Audacity.
4. Animate realistically - Sometimes cartoon style just isn't enough and you need to be able to animate realistically in order to look professional. It's a must to be able to change perspectives and use filters well in a flash movie. Of course you don't need to but it really makes everything look nicer and more polished.
5. Script - Even if you are an animator then knowing some scripts will help you do things like special effects or just make interactive menu's for your content. If you know only one bit of scripting in fl;ash then it should at least be making a play button and stop commands.
Advanced scripting is good though because it really expands your boundaries.
6. Research - Now this one is a major. A good flash developer should be able to research new ideas and be able to copy other developers. They should also be able to experiment with their own styles and ideas because experimenting in itself is a type research.
Here are some useful links which include example and links to learn new ideas:
Mario Kart Underground - this has brilliant use of 3d. Check out the 3d car. It justs belongs in that scene perfectly.
Last Stand 2 - Check out the brilliant backgrounds which have been done in photoshop.
Awesome Center Redux - I really hate this movie but it has some really good voice acting and sound effects all made by the maker of the movie, EgoRaptor.
There She Is-Step 4 - I personally think this is a beautiful animation and I think the use of perspectives and realistic physics really adds to it. Also Johnny Rocketfingers's has some really realistic animation which really adds to the feel.
WaterLollies - scripting really adds to this for example most of the special effects are scripted and even the camera views are scripted. If you don't know what 'scripted camera' is then look it up.
El-Cid - El-Cid is a flash developer who is constantly trying out new things and often has really good outcomes, look at his work for examples.

Good community of flash developers.
If we were scoring how would you score.
0/6 - You're either a noob or you're just inexperienced.
1/6 - Need to know more.
2/6 - Decent but not good.
3/6 - Starting to get somewhere.
4/6 - Starting to feel professional.
5/6 - Quite professional then are we.
6/6 - You are a pro. You must be good or maybe your not talented enough to make good stuff. But you'd make a good teacher.
Well, that's all for now folks.

Sometimes you just have to look it up yourself.
